Melanie Carter

A student of STOTT PILATES for 10 years, Melanie found no other exercise provided the benefits to her overall well-being. After working in the CPG industry and raising a family in Northwest Arkansas for the 13 years, she decided to get back into her love of teaching and training others. As a former collegiate diver and exercise enthusiast, it was a natural decision to want to share the benefits Pilates provides to both body and mind. She is certified in Levels 1 & 2, STOTT PILATES Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels and has been teaching for the last 4 years in Northwest Arkansas.

About Pilates

Pilates is a mind/body exercise system originally created by Joseph H. Pilates in the 1920-40’s. Pilates uses equipment such as the Reformer and Cadillac to guide and control movements promoting alignment throughout the body. This specialized equipment also allows for many different modifications to advance or support exercises as needed for each individual.
